Get To Know Justin: A Family Man Who Just Loves To Build Things
Justin’s journey into construction began on a farm near Utica, MN, where he learned the value of hard work. He honed his craftsmanship skills helping his dad remodel houses during winters, alongside his brothers. After high school, Justin pursued his passion for construction, balancing college football at Rochester Community and Technical College and later at St. Cloud State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Real Estate.
In college, Justin started his construction business on the side. He noticed the severe lack of available contractors – it would take weeks, sometimes months, to get someone out to just bid on a project. That’s when he knew that families in Southern Minnesota needed more qualified contractors. So, he went on to get his license; the rest is history.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is leading the charge to fight against Cystic Fibrosis, increasing the quality and longevity of life for the 40,000 Americans with this disease. One of the reasons we support the CF Foundation is because of a personal connection. One of our own, Justin Puetz’s son, Slater, has Cystic Fibrosis. We support the CF Foundation because we hope for better answers and treatment for people like Slater. Together, Puetz Construction and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation are working to improve the quality of life for the people we serve – just in two different ways!
Serving Our Neighborhood With Pride
We love our community and the small part we get to play in supporting our youth. As partners with the St. Charles Touchdown Club and Wrestling Club, we want young people to be empowered to excel in whatever they do. They might even become future roofers!
